Evaluation of non-implanted, Revalor®-IS/S re-implant program, and Revalor®-XS Delayed-Release implant in Finishing Steers |
These data demonstrate there is no difference in average daily gain, carcass gain, and feed conversion when comparing Revalor-XS given on day one to Revalor-IS given on day one followed by a reimplant of Revalor-S 75 days later. This trial indicates that with the use of Revalor-XS in long-fed steers, reimplanting is not necessary.

Growth Performance and Carcass Characteristics by Finishing Steers Implanted with Revalor®-XS: Colorado Study |
Administering Revalor-XS once at the beginning of an extended feeding period significantly improved live and carcass growth performance, hot carcass weight and dressing percent, with no reduction in average marbling scores or prime + choice carcasses, and only a minor reduction in premium carcasses in comparison to non-implanted steers. These data indicate that an additional $111 per carcass can be realized with the utilization of Revalor-XS.

Growth Performance and Carcass Characteristics by Finishing Steers Implanted with Revalor®-XS: Idaho Study |
Administering Revalor-XS once at the beginning of an extended feeding period significantly improved live and carcass growth performance, while demonstrating no deleterious effects on marbling score or distribution of carcass quality grades. These data indicate that an additional $68 per carcass can be realized with the utilization of Revalor-XS.

Growth Performance and Carcass Characteristics by Finishing Steers Implanted with Revalor®-XS: Texas Study |
Administering Revalor-XS once at the beginning of an extended feeding period significantly improved live and carcass growth performance, hot carcass weight and dressing percentage, with no reduction in average marbling scores. Revalor-XS produced fewer low Choice and Yield Grade 1 carcasses in this study. These data indicate that an additional $93 per carcass can be realized with the utilization of Revalor-XS.

Growth Performance and Carcass Characteristics of Finishing Steers Implanted with Revalor®-XS: Pooled Analysis across Multiple Locations |
Administering Revalor-XS once at the beginning of an extended feeding period significantly improved live and carcass growth performance in terms of ADG, DMI, F/G, Live Weight, and HCW. There was no reduction in average marbling scores, percentage low Choice, or > average Choice parameters. The number of carcasses grading Choice + Prime were slightly reduced in this pooled analysis. These pooled data indicate that an additional $90.00/carcass can be realized with the utilization of Revalor-XS.
